Daniel Williamsen, also known as Daniël van den Berg, is a 32 year old producer and DJ from Arnhem, the Netherlands. What started out as a hobby, has now turned into a 10+ year career with some beautiful highlights. Now a crucial part of today’s national house landscape with a sound that warms the heart of every house lover, Daniël’s rise has taken him firmly into the spotlight.

A long-standing love for the nineties house, soulful beats and an understanding of jazz, disco and Chicago-styles feed into unique sets and productions. Having gained national recognition led him to play at big festivals such as Free Your Mind, Extrema Outdoor, Have A Nice Day, SOLAR Weekend and clubs like Novia (Nijmegen), Gebr. De Nobel (Leiden), Panama (Amsterdam), Basis (Utrecht), Factory010 (Rotterdam) and Toffler (Rotterdam). It even led him to play at the legendary ‘Sisyphos’ and Paloma in Berlin.
The last few years Daniel started working more and more on developing his main sound. Not only getting behind the decks, but also working on his producer skills in the studio. Releasing on labels such as Moiss Music Black, Curl Records and Groove Is Our Business got him support from a variety of DJ’s. It even led him to get his track ‘I Want You’ remixed by the one and only Chris Stussy.
The future is looking bright for Daniel. He is known for the vibe and energy behind the decks while performing. He describes the connection between him and the crowd as one: “There needs to be a solid connection between the audience and the DJ. Like a harmony, like a feeling. When that connection is there and in sync, the magic follows. Something you need to experience to understand it.”
